Grumbling Dwarf

i'm a college student trying to learn d&d, looking for a group on/near campus willing to take in a new player and to help teach me how to play. i've done some reading but have no practical experience.

So as you all know I run a ton of stuff for special events. Gamedays, LFR Modules etc. I will not be running anymore LFR modules or doing any Game Days that directly involve WOTC. I will not be purchasing any more DND related materials from them and only will be buying miniatures in the after market from a gaming store or individual.

Hello fellow gamers, Our group recently had a player drop out due to scheduling conflicts with their work schedule. We are looking to chat with any interested players. We play D&D 3.5 with a few house modifications. We are currently playing a short stint in D20 Modern to give our DM a breather; we will be switching back to 3.5 D&D in a short time.

We are meeting at Misty Mountain Games on Cottage Grove Rd on Thursdays, currently 2-8 but could go to 4-10. We are seeking up to three more players for an ongoing campaign in a DM-created world, using custom rules for spellcasting and XP. Novice or veteran players welcome. Current party consists of non-humanoid races, but all are welcome. ECL's permitted with DM approval.

Kevin T. Singer has been denied his right to play DND in prison in Waupun, WI. Now I would be more sympathetic if he was in prison for tax fraud or something a little less then what he is in for. See kevin beat someone to death with a sledge hammer. Does that make a difference in the fact that prison officials took away all his books about DND and won't let him play?

I'm looking to branch out, experience new games and people! I've got quite a lot of free time on my weekday afternoons and Saturday.

Hey there. So I've had my 4th Edition books sitting around for ages (I only have the Core 3 mind you), and I've been wanting to do something with them. I bought the books when they first came out, they saw a little play and then hit the shelf to sit there since. I have been in Madison for 5 months now and have my barrings after my "big move".
